solve the postback issue which is availble while you using URLRewriting.
But let me give an example in which I used URLRewriting and it was useful in contrary to what
Scott believes. We are already using URLRewriting for some parts of
KhyalGallery.com which the
artists and galleries are going to use a URL on their own business cards and things like that. Imagine I had to make a new folder for all upcoming new artists!
So, in my opinion, it can be used in such cases which the user really does not need to come www. itself and instead goes to the page directly.
